I think that companies should encourage their employees giving some benefits because they will work in a healthier environment, will be more productive and hence, the company will get more profits. It’s not necessary that the companies invest much money to make employees happier since some of the concessions can be working in remote from home or letting them choose their work timetable.
Obviously, not all the measures will be applicable to all the companies because some type of jobs can not be carried out from home such as shop attendants or cleaners. But every company should conduct a survey among their workers to know the preferences of them.
I consider myself a privileged person in the company I’m working in right now. They give us a lot of benefits in different ways such as half Friday off, one-day work at home every week, different leisure activities on weekends to create a feeling of identity to the company and promote the relationship among workmates. Most of the perks and some others which my company grants have already been detailed in this article.
I think that my company invests in wellness for their employees promoting sport activities such as trekking or visits to cultural places. They have also hired the services of a massagist who help the workers reduce their muscular problems due to bad postures or stress, free of charge for them. Finally, the company has contracted a private health insurance for all their employees without any cost for them.
I have been working in several companies and I can assure that the company I’m currently working in is the best one. It has some downsides too, such as working under a lot of stress, many no-paid hours every day and certain problems to choose the vacations I really want because there are many ups and downs in workload. But even so, it deserves.

You certainly put a lot of efforts in writing your answers to this lesson’s discussion questions. Well done.
