I have always considered myself as a patient person. I’m the eldest of three siblings and they used to ask me for help to their doubts and studies because they often needed things to be repeated several times. Besides, I have been able to manage different tough situations along my life where patience has been the key to success in business.
However, I notice that my patience is worsening day by day. Sometimes, I am not capable of controlling my nerves and I say things to people which can hurt them. To avoid these disgusting situations, I try to prove different techniques. Firstly, before saying anything I take two deep breaths. In addition, I usually go to the gym so that I can release all my nerves and adrenalin. Since then, my life has improved drastically.
The last time I lost my patience was a week ago when I had to speak to my aunt about a subject. She is an old person living a parallel life in her mind. It is very difficult to handle any issue with her since she is obsessed with the same matter again and again.
People who require more patience in my life are my family, mainly my parents and uncles. They are old people and more intransigent with everything.
Unfortunately, I realize that I’m getting more impatient as I get older. But I think that it is a general feeling to everyone. From my point of view, the main reason is that we are assuming more responsibilities and more problems, we sleep less as the time goes by.
