What is Elon Musk’s X, the everything app? The everything app is a super app outside of Asia. These kind of apps allow the user to do different tasks of any kind, from sending a message to a friend to ordering some food online.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of such apps? On one hand, these apps are very comfortable, accesible, easy to use and usually free as well. On the other hand, they tend to isolate the user and create an addiction on it because of the excess of dopamine. Besides, these apps are contributing to create a society so dependant on phones it is hard to live without one nowadays.

How do you feel about using just one app for all your online activities and transactions? It is very practical but a bit uncomfortable, because it can lead towards a future where the government has a total control over all of your money, transactions and movements activities, which is a scenario a bit scary, in my opinion.

Do you find it burdensome to download different apps for different purposes? If yes, how do you manage it? It can be a bit burdersome, and stressful as well, specially given the amount of notifications a single app can send. One thing I do is control which apps are able to send me notifications to the phone, as well as create some folders for the apps I have installed, so my home screen becomes cleaner and easier to navigate.

Are there mobile apps that have multiple functions? State some.
Yes, my bank account app, per example, allows you to check your income, your latest transactions, recharge your credit card, take a loan and send money to your friends. Telegram is also very useful, because besides chatting, and it gives the user access to unlimited storage in the cloud, giving the user the possibility to upload files of different sizes, and share them with one’s friends.
