1. We can achieve it by not dumping valid food, only because it its not looking “good”. We have to eat with our mouths, not with our eyes. This should start by retailers, for example selling by weight, and not categorizing the food in “classes”. I can limit my waste by buying only what I am going to be able to eat, avoiding impulses to buy unnecessary good looking food.
2. By reminding them every day that there is hungry people around the world. For example, the store is a good place to remind them, it should be mandatory for the stores to place these reminders (images, text…) visible to the customers when they are buying.
3. Forbid the dumping of valid food, forbid the categorization of food only by its look and finally sending the excess of food to other countries that need it.
