Undeniably, air pollution has been a problem in every country around the world. No wonder a lot of car companies are heading for electric and hybrid cars in the future. Just recently, the UK has announced its plans to fight air pollution by banning petrol and diesel cars starting 2040.
Is it a good idea or will it be a little too late by then? Let’s read the article below and let us know your opinion about the subject.

1. I think that is a necesary law because is the form to pressure to the car companies for develop the better ecologic cars during the next years. If they don’t have time limits probably in 2040 the ecologic cars would be worst than it they have this type of deadlines.
2. I don’t know very well if in Spain we have a similar law in relation to ban the petrol cars but I know that right know if you want to buy an electric or hybrid car you will have to pay less taxes in compare with the rest of the cars. And for example in Madrid you can park in wherever you want without pay nothing. The rest of the cars need to pay un function of the zones, the time etc.
At this moment we having benefits for buy this type of cars. Probably in the next years we will have more and more.
3. Probably in 2040 the totally or near to the totally of the cars of Europe will are electrical or with another ecological system.
When the mayority of the citizens will discover the benefits of the hybrid or electric cars probably don’t have problems to buy this type of cars.
At this moment the most important problem is the autonomy of the electric cars but probably in the next 10 years this problem will resolved.
4. Yes I think that repair the electric cars is definitely cheaper than the petrol cars because have less components and less pieces that have the possibility to broke.
5. Probably if they want to the people buy more of this type of cars they need to give more economic aids or more aids in things like less prices for drive in specific roads, more benefits to park and this type of things.
6. Probably because the electric cars still don’t have a good autonomy for travel with the car. At this moment only are usefull for drive in the city for short periods. In few years this problem will change and when it will be happends the electric cars will be more interesting that right now.
