Selective vulnerability is the key way to bringing my authentic self to work, being balanced between under-emoter and over-emoter. I can practice selective vulnerability in four ways:
1 flagging my feelings
2 identifying what´s going on
3 putting my self in other person shoes
4 reading the room

I think that emotions don´t belong to work. Emotions belong to every person

I don´t feel good beeing an over-emoter. It´s for me a weakness. I try to be a balanced person and to be conscious about my feelings.

Talk about some relatable stories about when your emotions (both good and bad) got the best of you at work.
If you read the feelings of people at work, you can help them. This is a good way to treat people as human beings. On the other hand, treating with dificult/toxic people can produce bad feelings and sometimes big confronations between coworkers.

Thank you very much for your efforts writing your answers to our questions.
