What do you think of the French Diet?
I think that French Diet is very similar to the Spanish Diet, called Mediterranean diet. It is not only a question of quantity and quality, but also of the enjoyment of eating and sharing moments with other people.

Based on the article, which tips have you ever tried before? Did they work? Share your experiences.
As stated in the answer to the previous question, since the French and Spanish Diets are similar, most of the tips have been tested by the majority of Spanish people. However, I do not like, in general, raw food and red wine, 2 of the tips that I do not follow. In general, all the tips are good; what is not good, is to eat fast food in excess (and it is usually done).

Which of the tips you find fascinating or strange and why?
Taking each and every one of these tips into account, none of them strikes me as fascinating or strange. In my opinion, most of them are based on a French stereotype of the past, which today I believe is far from reality.

How do you keep yourself fit and healthy?
In my case, a healthy diet is followed at home. Only on the weekend, I indulge myself, like a pizza or hamburger. Healthy diet plus exercising two or three times a week would be enough to stay fit and healthy.

It seems pretty similar to the one that we actually have in Spain, we call it Mediterranean diet, it’s not only a matter of quality, but also the overall experience of eating and sharing moments with others without
being in a hurry whenever you can.

As stated before, these tips are also applied to the Mediterranean diet, so nearly every tip has been tried by most of us. I couldn’t try drinking wine while eating because I don’t like too much the taste, nonetheless
I replace it with beer, which also has a lot of natural benefits provided that you consume it in moderation. Also, I could say it seems that it worked for me so far as long as I don’t try fast food.

Which of the tips you find fascinating or strange and why?
I think that most of the article is based on french stereotypes because during the reading I was thinking of French people as you can see it in old movies from the past century, with this snobbish style. French people are like Mediterranean people that have been influenced by US dietary costumes. Maybe a large part of the french population follow these tips, but I guess is not applicable to the most.

How do you keep yourself fit and healthy?
I often take care of my meals and watch out for the total intake. The stomach is wise and can warn you whenever you have taken too much or too fast. As the article, if I feel myself kind of heavy, I cut back some fat for a while. Moreover, you can complement this by going to the gym maybe two or three times a week.
