Hospital workers set up an electricity generator in order to continue the operation.

Less light when operating, some machines probably did not work as the oxygen…

Because they probably knew that the electricity was not coming back soon and they had to finish the operation with the boy, it was life or death.

Yes, but the power usually comes back on right away. You light candles, flashlights and all you have to do is wait for it to come back.

5. How important do you think electricity is for hospitals and medical procedures?
It is very important, to maintain medicines, to operate machines, elevators… Without light, lives could not be saved…

6. How could the lack of electricity and water affect the daily lives of people in the city?
Without water there would be much more disease, less cleanliness, and without light we would not be able to do many of the everyday things we do. These are two very important factors for the development of our lives.
