By the end of 2022, Germany wants to close all its nuclear and coal power plants. Their goal is that by 2040, they will only use energy that comes from renewable resources like wind and sunlight.

1. I think is a really good plan, solar and wind energy are everywhere around the world, and they are one of the most clean energies known.
2. I don’t know, maybe it is more difficult to achieve it with solar energy, as they are a cloudy country. However, I suppose that the wind there has a lot of potential.
3. My country already begun the transition to solar and wind energies some years ago, and it is a good portion of the total energy production. Another important energy source used here is the hydroelectric type. A great portion of the energy generation in Spain comes from the water.
4. We should achieve 100% renewable energy generation to avoid being dependent of other countries while also taking care of the world. Solar, wing and water are resources that every country have, and they should exploit it to be self-sufficient.
5. Russia will lose all their finance power, as would happen with other oil dependent countries.
