1.What is your reaction to Rivian’s alleged pattern of poaching its employees and stealing trade secrets from Tesla?

In general, stealing trade secrets from other companies is a bad practice and should be avoided because the information considered a trade secret gives the company an economic advantage over its competitors and is often a product of internal research and development, sometimes for long years.

2.Talk about your experience being poached by other companies. How did it happen?

I´ve never been poached, at least, in the meaning that I´ve found out in this article. When I´ve moved from one company to other company in the same area or sector, the original company gave me some confidentiality clauses that I must follow to avoid a lawsuit.

3.Do you think it is ethical to divulge information/knowledge you have acquired from your former company to your present employer?

Intellectual property is the lifeblood of every organization and mine takes different measures to keep their information safe. They educate all employees about intellectual property using internal trainings and checking every week our knowledge about it. Other practices to protect their intellectual property in my company are: use data encryption, control who can access sensitive information, securely back up important files. …

5.What is your direct competitor/s like? Do you think your company has the same problem as Tesla with them?

I work in a pharmaceutical company and indeed we have the same problem that Tesla with our competitors but not at my level.
