1. Are you renting? / Have you ever rented a house/flat?
Not now, but I was renting when I was at university. I was living with three more rommies in a flat.
2. What are your thoughts about renting versus owning/buying?
Owning better in some points like the money you spend is in your own house, and also you can decorate it however you like. On the other hand, renting gives more freedom plus the possibility of live in the downtown or in another location that maybe you can afford to buy a home there.
3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of renting?
Like I said, the advantages is live in a part of the city that you can afford to buy a house, the freedom to lieave the house and move if you want or if you have to do it (because you change your job or your priorities). However, disadvantages also exist. For instance, you pay every month to strangers and you have never have something on your own. Moreover, you can not decorate it, and maybe you have to share the commons places of the house.
4. Is it more common for people in your country to rent or buy a house? Why do you think that is?
It is more common to buy, or, al least for now. Nowadays the dynamic is changing and it is more difficult for young people to buy a house, so they are obligated to rent it.
5. Talk about your experience renting.
It was an incredible experience because I almost know the majority of my roomies (3 of 4), and the one that I didn’t know was a kind and nice person. Plus, the flat was amazing because it had a great location (near to university), and it was big and had two bathrooms, perfect for four girls.

No, I am not renting a house now but I did rent several in the past.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of renting?
The advantages of renting are quick access to the house and the mortgage is avoided.
The disadvantages are that the money falls on deaf ears and you depend on a third person when you have a problem with the house.

In my country, young people with little income tend to rent and older people tend to have their own house.
