1. What is the Dunning-Kruger effect?
It is an effect describe by two psychologist that state the fact that a lot of people have a very high self-esteem of themselves and basically, they really think they are better doing things that the really are… they demonstrate this effect with several tests and in many different occasions.
2. Do you know people who are exceptionally competent? Are they aware of it?
Yes, I know people very good doing certain thing: e.g. playing tennis, or playing ice hockey in a very extraordinary way. I also knew a school mate, when I was a child, that I had a special ability with maths, and he could do very complex computational exercises at the same time a calculator did, amazing..
3. On the other hand, do you know people who are incompetent but think they’re amazing? What is it like working with them?
Not exactly like that, but yes, I know people that they thing they are better that they really are… at work, at sports, in real life…

4. Do you have the ability to recognize your errors? What do you do when you have been made aware of them?
Yes in most of the cases, maybe this is why I have a low self-esteem… Well, when I aware of them I try to solve them, apologize if appropriate, and try to do it better next time.
5. What are the tips to have an accurate assessment of yourself that were mentioned in the video?
First: ask for feedback from other people, and consider it…

3.- I have met with a large number of these people, it is quite common in a large organization, normally they have a lack of humility, it is not easy to work with them because they are not receptive.
4.-As everybody, sometimes better sometimes worse, in any case normally I receive quite well the feedback provided for someone.
5.- Be ready to receive feedback, even if this not easy to hear, and keep learning.
