According to the article, why is it important to control your emotions?

From my point of view is very important to be focused on positive aspects about the thoughts or intentions from the other people. I try to think that all the people are good, at least until don’t prove the opposite.
Being uncapable to control your emotions or reactions is not a benefit for anybody. An excessive angry behavior, sometimes due to stress, shows clearly you aren’t a balanced person.

Why might it be important to be able to recognize other people’s emotions?

Because your recognition of the root cause about an emotional attack against to you from somebody can help you to try to understand this emotional attack. And can help you to face these kinds of negative situations, trying to understand the reasons of people that do them (fear, insecurity….)

What is a sign of high emotional intelligence?

I think it isn’t the fact to obtain a high score in an emotional intelligence test because I think that we easily are capable of cheating to the test.
If you are interested in obtaining a leader profile, for example, you’ll be able to project a leader profile by cheating the test with your answers. It depends of the role or job you want achieve.

What are ways to manage one’s emotions?

Because it is very necessary and important living in the civilization, not in the jungle. Precisely so as not to turn the civilization into a jungle.

Can a person take control of their reaction to other people’s words and actions? Explain your thoughts.

Really, I think that. Sometimes is necessary wear a mask in order to hide your real emotions and reactions if your feelings are rejection about some people.
This is emotional intelligence for me, being capable to hide your emotions or reactions when they are negative and being capable of showing only and always the best version of yourself.

People with leader functions, that earn more money a month than the rest of people, need have a high degree of emotional intelligence.
When you must handle a lot of emotional intelligences under your leadership, I think you need have the highest one. At least it ought to be very useful.
I think the fact to have a professional degree doesn’t assure you have a very high emotional intelligence, there are a lot of high executive managers that are authentic psycho-killers.

I think is better to ask for help instead having to shame a quality problem in the final product or a claim from the costumer.

I think is very important to find a purpose everyday to encourage ourselves constantly.

The lack of justice in some situations.

The freedom I have for acting often under my own criteria when I have to solve a production or quality problem.

Learning to put more efficient firewalls to the stressing situations.

High energy person because I’m the kinds of person that put a lot of passion in all the things I do. All my work is signed by me and I consider is very important how I do it.

Totally focused on results and tasks.
I consider that being too much focused-on people and emotions could be toxic for you and a bad influence for your work.
