Although there are a lot of benefits from it, the cons on the other hand, are quite controversial.

In my opinion, any measures to prevent the spread of the virus, including COVID passports, should be welcome in an emergency situation such as in 2020 when no vaccines were available. Once the situation is better from the hospital admissions point of view, I would impose COVID passports only when the vaccine is at a much more developed stage.
I can understand that some people do not trust the vaccine yet since it was produced very quickly.
