As Covid-19 vaccination rates increase, the economy reopens. As a result, decision makers and public officials have considered the idea of a “vaccine passport”. This is required to provide proof of vaccination before traveling or conducting daily work and other activities in order to allow human mobility while protecting lives. Although there are a lot of benefits from it, the cons on the other hand, are quite controversial.

In my opinion, any measures to prevent the spread of the virus, including COVID passports, should be welcome in an emergency situation such as in 2020 when no vaccines were available. Once the situation is better from the hospital admissions point of view, I would impose COVID passports only when the vaccine is at a much more developed stage.
I can understand that some people do not trust the vaccine yet since it was produced very quickly.

The main advantage is that it helps to create secure spaces, and that is very important for people’s health.
As disadvantages I can mention that, as vaccination has not been extended throughout the world on a regular basis, the use of vaccine passports can lead to discimination.

I think that people who can be vaccinated but don’t want to, should do a retraining exercise, because their decision affects the rest of the people.

Pros: It’s a control measure for avoiding more contagions, if it’s performed strictly.
Cons: If this control isn’t strict enough is avoidable and can be pointless.
I think that there’s an option but they have to adapt to the existing rules, they like ir or not. I also think that they are not very caring with the rest and they could take advantage of other people’s solidarity.
